Working Principle Of Rice Husk Pellet Machine

It is caused by squeezing raw materials such as rice husk and straw under pressure at normal temperature by using rollers and ring die granulators. Convenient transportation and storage, meanwhile, its fuel performance is greatly improved. The particle size of rice husk raw materials can be divided into coarse particles, medium particles and fine particles. Above 3.0 is coarse grain. Medium and fine granules have better granulation properties, low energy consumption and less wear on the die roll.

When medium and fine granules are quenched and tempered, they have more surface area than coarse grains in contact with steam, and steam easily penetrates the particles. The core makes it fully mature, produces physical and chemical changes, and improves granulation quality. Coarse particles cannot be completely penetrated by steam; in addition, when coarse material is granulated, the surface area of ​​contact with each other is less than that of medium and fine particles, and the adhesion is poor. After granulation, the particle swelling rate is large and cracks easily; High density, good ability to pass through die holes, less wear on die holes, and high productivity.

  1. Cleaning & Sieving
    During the cleaning and sieving process, foreign objects are removed from the raw material.
  2. Drying section
    The humidity percentage of the rice husk must be reduced from approx 80-90% to not more than 12-13%. The machine could be a rotary drum drier or a belt drier and has a burner that can be alimented with oil, gasoline, gas or wood.
  3. Grinding section
    After drying a refiner rice husk crusher hammer mill, complete with aspiration unit, reduces the dimensions of the product and prepares it for pelleting. The product is also cleared from any ferrous part.(In many rice husk pellet manufacturing cases, the rice husk does not need to be crushed.)
  4. Mixing section

  5. Pelleting section
    The material is entering in the rice husk pellet pressing machine passing through the conditioner. Here other ingredients could be added, before the material goes into the pellet pressure chamber to be transformed into pellets by the die. On the outside of the holes some knives cut the rice husk pellets at the desired length.

  6. Cooling section
    After pelleting by rice husk pellet maker, the product is very hot, therefore it's necessary to cool the product at approximately +5°C in respect to the room temperature, in order give it the right hardness and the best consistence to store and handle it. The rice husk making equipment in this section is a counter current cooler complete with air aspiration line the recovery of dust.
  7. Screening section
    In this phase the product is cleaned from the dust, which is brought back into the production cycle.
  8. Packing section
    The pelleted rice husk product is conveyed to the silo for storage before delivery. It can be delivered in bulk, loaded on trucks or packed in sacks or big-bag. The machines for packaging could be manual, semi-automatic or automatic, based on the requested production.
