A wood processor in Quang Ninh uses one 90 kW SFSP66×100 sawdust crusher to prepare 3–4 T/H of clean wood chips for biomass pellet and briquette production.

A wood-residue processor in Quang Ninh selected one SFSP66×100 Cheap Price 3-4 Ton Per Hour Sawdust Crusher Machine in Vietnam to strengthen the fine-grinding stage ahead of biomass pellet production. The plant handles clean acacia and eucalyptus chips, together with untreated sawmill trimmings that are first reduced by the customer’s existing coarse-size equipment before they reach the hammer mill.
The customer already had a chipper, moisture-control equipment, conveyors, storage and downstream pelletizing capacity, so the purchase remained a standalone grinding upgrade. The SFSP66×100 uses a 90 kW main motor, 660 mm rotor and 1000 mm grinding chamber, with about 3–4 T/H used as the project reference for suitably prepared wood rather than as a fixed rate for every species, moisture level or screen.

3–4 T/H
Model:
SFSP66×100
Main Motor Power:
90 kW
Raw Materials:
acacia chips, eucalyptus chips
Final product size:
4–6mm
The factory did not need another complete biomass line because primary size reduction and downstream densification were already available. Its weak point was the secondary grinding stage, where irregular chips limited the flow of prepared sawdust toward the pellet section. Adding one hammer mill concentrated investment on the real bottleneck and avoided duplicating equipment that still had enough capacity for the planned production volume.
Quang Ninh also gives the project a credible raw-material setting. Plantation wood and sawmill residues can be aggregated from regional suppliers, but the mill accepts only clean untreated material for its biomass route. Painted timber, plywood, MDF, particleboard and laminated furniture scraps are kept outside this feedstock specification because coatings and adhesives are not equivalent to clean wood used for fuel-pellet preparation.

| Project Reference Capacity | Approximately 3–4 T/H on suitably prepared clean wood |
| Typical Trial Screen | Approximately 4–6 mm for biomass-pellet feedstock |

The 3–4 T/H figure applies to prepared wood entering the fine-grinding stage, not to logs, thick slabs or whole branches. Real throughput depends on chip dimensions, wood density, moisture, screen opening, hammer condition and the amount of fines required by the next process. A smaller screen normally increases residence time inside the chamber and can reduce tonnes per hour while raising electricity use per tonne.
The 90 kW platform was selected because the target output would be difficult to justify with the smaller SFSP66×60 configuration described for lower-duty applications. The customer also did not need a much larger grinder because its existing dryer, storage and pelletizing equipment are planned around the 3–4 T/H fine-grinding window. Machine size therefore follows the balanced section capacity rather than the largest motor available.
Solid offcuts and larger branches do not enter the SFSP66×100 directly. The customer first uses its chipper to reduce bulky pieces to a manageable chip form, then removes visible foreign matter and meters the prepared material toward the hammer mill. This keeps the high-speed rotor focused on secondary size reduction and prevents the grinder from being forced to perform both primary chipping and fine sawdust production in one chamber.
Moisture is equally important because the hammer mill is not a dryer. Wet chips become more flexible, screen passage slows and usable capacity can fall even when the 90 kW motor is fully available. The plant therefore coordinates drying and grinding according to incoming wood condition. Fine dry sawdust that already meets the pellet specification can bypass additional milling rather than being processed again without a technical reason.
A 4–6 mm screen provides a useful trial range for many biomass-pellet applications, but the screen opening should not be presented as the exact finished sawdust diameter. Hammer milling creates a distribution of fines, fibres and small particles, and acacia does not fracture exactly like eucalyptus. The customer samples the discharge and selects the screen from downstream pellet performance instead of chasing one visual particle size.
The main product route is biomass pellet production, where controlled particle size helps the mixer, feeder and ring-die section receive a more uniform wood stream. The same grinding section can also prepare material for briquetting when the briquette press accepts the resulting distribution. These uses are more technically direct than claiming that ordinary hammer-mill sawdust is automatically suitable for every wood-panel manufacturing process.
Particleboard applications require the board producer to approve particle geometry, moisture and cleanliness, while MDF relies on dedicated fibre refining rather than generic hammer-mill sawdust. Clean wood fines can also serve selected composting or bedding markets when buyer specifications allow them. The factory therefore separates product routes by actual customer requirements instead of advertising one sawdust grade for every possible use.
The Cheap Price 3-4 Ton Per Hour Sawdust Crusher Machine in Vietnam adds value mainly by using equipment already installed around it. The customer avoids buying another drum wood chipper, rotary dryer or wood pellet production line and directs capital toward the grinding stage that restricts output. The commercial advantage comes from a correctly sized standalone retrofit rather than an unsupported transaction price that may exclude screens, motors or auxiliaries.
Dry wood grinding produces combustible dust, so the wood hammer mill is integrated with enclosed conveying, aspiration, product separation and suitable filtration. Fan capacity and duct resistance are checked as one system because poor air balance can reduce screen discharge and increase dust around the machine. Housekeeping, grounding and bearing monitoring are included in the plant’s fire-risk controls for fine biomass material.
A magnetic separation point ahead of the grinder helps intercept nails and other ferrous fragments from sawmill handling, while operators still inspect for stones, sand, aluminium and plastic that a magnet cannot remove. Mineral contamination accelerates hammer and screen wear without adding value to the sawdust. The plant therefore treats incoming cleanliness as a maintenance variable rather than relying only on harder wear parts.
The 90 kW main drive is only part of the electrical demand. Feeding, conveying, aspiration and downstream handling add their own loads, so the retrofit checks transformer capacity, motor starting, protection and cable sizing for the complete grinding section. Stable feed rate is also important because large surges can overload the chamber even when average hourly tonnage appears to be within the project target.
The SFSP66×100 can be prepared for shipment from Qingdao to Hai Phong before inland delivery to the Quang Ninh facility. This route keeps the imported machine close to the customer’s northern Vietnam site without forcing an unnecessary cross-country movement. Final vessel schedules, customs handling and truck arrangements depend on the confirmed booking, so the case does not assign a fixed transit or installation period.
Before arrival, the customer prepares the support structure, chip-feed conveyor, magnetic protection, discharge connection, aspiration ducting and maintenance clearance from confirmed equipment drawings. Particular attention is given to inlet and outlet elevations because a retrofit machine must fit between existing equipment. Enough side access is also reserved for screen, hammer and rotor inspection during scheduled maintenance.
Future expansion starts with measured operating hours rather than simply adding another hammer mill. If the SFSP66×100 runs only part of a shift, the customer can increase scheduled grinding before installing more capacity. A second grinder becomes relevant only when prepared chips regularly wait ahead of the machine and the dryer, buffer storage and pellet section can accept the additional sawdust without creating another bottleneck.
For another buyer evaluating a Cheap Price 3-4 Ton Per Hour Sawdust Crusher Machine in Vietnam, RICHI Machinery would review wood species, largest prepared chip size, moisture, contamination, target screen, required particle distribution, hourly demand, daily operating hours, aspiration, electrical supply, workshop clearance and downstream pellet or briquette capacity before confirming the model and auxiliary scope.
