RICHI MACHINERY Delivers 18 T/H Broiler Feed Production Line to Mexico

RICHI MACHINERY has completed shipment of an 18-ton-per-hour broiler feed production line destined for northern Mexico, a region where poultry farming has expanded rapidly in response to growing domestic meat consumption.

The chicken feed production line will supply finished feed to integrated poultry operations, covering both starter crumble and grower pellet formulations based on corn-soy diets.

High-Capacity Feed Manufacturing

The equipment package includes a silo storage system for bulk raw materials, computerized batching for precise formulation control, a hammer mill for consistent particle size reduction, a high-efficiency ribbon mixer, a feed pellet mill configured for poultry feed production, a counterflow cooler with crumbler rolls, and an automated packing station.

The system is designed for continuous operation with minimal manual intervention. Batching accuracy falls within strict tolerance bands, ensuring that each ton of feed delivers the specified nutrient levels—a critical factor in modern broiler production where growth rates and feed conversion directly affect profitability.

Enhancing Feed Quality

Steam conditioning plays a central role in the process. By injecting controlled amounts of steam into the mash before pelleting, the system achieves starch gelatinization that improves digestibility and pellet binding. The result is durable pellets that withstand handling and transport without breaking down into fines.

For finisher diets, an oil dosing system applies liquid fat after pelleting, allowing higher energy inclusion without compromising pellet quality during cooling. This post-pelleting application also prevents oil from interfering with steam penetration during conditioning.

Automation and Consistency

The control system manages the entire production sequence—from ingredient scaling to finished product discharge—with real-time monitoring of key parameters. Recipes can be stored and recalled electronically, reducing the risk of formulation errors and enabling rapid changeovers between starter and grower diets.

Installation is scheduled to begin next month, with RICHI field technicians supporting the client's team during mechanical assembly and control system integration. Commissioning and operator training will follow once installation is complete.
