Biomass mainly refers to wastes such as crop straw, forestry and wood processing. Biomass energy is an important renewable energy source. Biomass pellet fuel has high volatile content, easy precipitation, good carbon activity, flammability, low ash content, fast ignition, more fuel saving, and lower use cost. The formed biomass pellets are small in volume, high in specificity, high in density, resistant to combustion, easy to store and transport, and the calorific value can reach between 3900-4800 kcal. It is an ideal new fuel and is widely used in domestic stoves and hot water boilers, industrial boilers and biomass power plants.
Wood Pellet Production Line Project
The sawdust pellet production line project is 5t/h per hour, working 8 hours a day, and producing 40 tons of wood pellets a day. Working 300 days a year is 12,000 tons/year. The actual total investment of this project is 4 million yuan, with an annual output of 12,000 tons of shaped biomass pellets. There are 10 employees in this project, and the annual working time is about 300 days. The basic situation of the project is shown in Table 1:

The production process of this project is relatively simple, all processes are physical processes,
(1) Raw materials
The raw materials of the project are transported by vehicles to the raw material workshop for backup, and a certain amount of dust is generated during the raw material transportation.
(2) Granulation
The wood chips of this project have been crushed before entering the factory and can be directly processed into granules. The raw material for granulation is only sawdust without any additives. The principle of the pellet machine is that the fine material is rolled and extruded, and the wood chips are deformed and extruded into pellets under high temperature and high pressure. Under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure, the moisture in the raw materials is condensed into liquid water through pipelines and discharged to the outside environment in the form of steam. The raw materials are compressed into molded biomass particles and transported to the next process by a belt conveyor. The granulating process adopts electric heating, and the granulating temperature is 80℃~120℃. This process will generate a small amount of dust, water vapor and noise.
(3) Packaging
The compressed biomass pellets generally have a temperature of 40~50℃, and need to be cooled in the case of packaging. The pelletized product is transported to the finished product yard by a conveyor belt for natural cooling, and then packaged after cooling. The packaging process of this project is manual packaging .
Note: The raw material produced in this project is sawdust, which has been crushed before entering the factory, and the moisture content is about 8%, which meets the requirements of granulation and molding. Therefore, there is no need to dry during the production process. The water content is water under the action of high temperature and high pressure during the granulation process. The form of steam is lost.
