Indonesia 2.5 T/H Bass Feed Line Completes Pre-Delivery Configuration Review

A 2.5 t/h extruded bass feed production line for Indonesia has completed its final configuration review at RICHI Machinery and is entering delivery preparation.

The customer is an aquafeed producer expanding into higher-protein feed for bass and related cultured fish. Planned formulations include fish meal, soybean protein concentrate or soybean meal, wheat flour, starch materials, oils and premixes.

The production range will cover several extruded feed specifications mainly between approximately 2 and 6 mm.

Final Review Focused on the Smallest Commercial Product

Before the equipment package was released for packing, RICHI reviewed the line against the more demanding end of the customer's product range.

A larger 6 mm feed does not necessarily create the same grinding and extrusion requirements as a smaller 2 mm product.

The fine-grinding system therefore had to be assessed against the smaller feed specification, not only the easiest product to produce.

High-Protein Formulas Increase the Importance of Extrusion Control

Bass feed is not simply conventional grain feed pushed through an extruder.

Protein source, starch contribution, oil level and moisture interact during processing.

The customer expects to manufacture several formulas, so the line has been prepared for controlled changes rather than one fixed recipe.

RICHI Machinery will establish practical operating references during commissioning with the customer's actual ingredients.

Dryer Loading Was Checked Across the Intended Product Range

Fresh extruded feed still contains moisture that needs to be reduced before cooling and final liquid application.

Different pellet sizes and formulas can influence drying behavior.

The pre-delivery review therefore included the relationship between extrusion output and downstream drying capacity.

This prevents the project from being evaluated around the extruder nameplate alone.

Oil Application Will Remain Adjustable

The customer's bass feed products will not necessarily carry the same oil level.

The downstream liquid application section has therefore been configured for controlled recipe changes.

Actual addition will be established according to the formulation and final product requirement rather than one universal setting.

Equipment Now Moves into Shipment Preparation

The engineering stage for the Indonesian project is effectively closed.

Packing and equipment identification will now proceed according to the future installation layout.

The most important production verification still lies ahead, after the fish feed production line is assembled and the customer introduces its local ingredients.

For now, the completion of configuration review confirms that the 2.5 t/h system is ready to leave the engineering stage and move toward physical installation in Indonesia.
