1. Log peeling and segmentation - ensuring material purity

In order to ensure that the final shavings and sawdust are clean and free of bark impurities, an automatic log peeling machine is set at the front end of the production line. After peeling, the logs enter the segmenting machine and are cut into wood segments of appropriate lengths according to subsequent processing requirements.

Advantages: Avoid bark from mixing into finished products, reduce ash and odor, and improve the cleanliness of bedding.

2. High-efficiency wood chipper - produces soft and fluffy wood chips

The wood segments after peeling and segmentation enter the industrial wood chipper. RICHI's customized heavy-duty wood chipper adopts a multi-knife disc and multi-knife head design, which can adjust the length and thickness of the wood chips according to customer needs. The wood chips produced are uniform, fluffy, and have good water absorption. They are the preferred high-end bedding raw materials for stables, cow sheds and poultry houses.

Advantages: The finished product is soft, without sharp fragments, and does not hurt the skin and hooves of animals.

3. Wood crusher - produces fine and uniform sawdust

Some of the wood segments or wood chips can be directly fed into the RICHI wood crusher, crushed into fine sawdust, used as bedding for small animals (such as poultry and pets) or mixed with wood chips to further improve the hygroscopicity and deodorization performance.

Advantages: The crusher is equipped with a multi-stage blade and screen system, which can flexibly adjust the sawdust particle size to adapt to different animal bedding standards.

4. Screening and grading - ensuring product consistency

After being crushed, the shavings and sawdust enter the multi-layer vibrating screen for grading and screening to remove oversized or undersized particles to ensure that the finished product size is consistent and the softness meets the standards. The unqualified parts can be returned to the crusher or secondary shaving machine for further processing.

Advantages: The finished product specifications are highly consistent, which is convenient for mechanized bedding and replacement in large-scale farms.

5. Drying treatment (optional) - to cope with high humidity seasons

For seasonal high humidity or high moisture content of logs, RICHI has reserved a rotary dryer interface for customers, which can quickly dry the shavings and sawdust when necessary, keep the moisture content of the finished bedding within the safe storage range, and prevent mildew and odor.

6. Automatic packaging system - convenient storage and transportation, increase added value

After the finished shavings and sawdust are screened and qualified, they are bagged and sealed by the automatic weighing and packaging system. Packaging specifications can be flexibly set according to market demand, such as 10-25kg for small bags and 300-500kg for large bags, to meet the diversified scenarios of retail and bulk supply.
