Successfully Signed the 11th Feed Processing Project in Saudi Arabia

RICHI has achieved another success and successfully signed the 11th feed processing project in Saudi Arabia - helping the local animal husbandry industry to develop efficiently and sustainably.

On June 27, 2025, RICHI MACHINERY once again received exciting good news: the company successfully signed a fully automatic animal feed production line with an annual output of more than 10 tons/hour with a Saudi Arabian customer, with an order amount of up to US$408,620.

This is the 11th feed processing project signed by RICHI in Saudi Arabia, and it is also another large-scale feed factory construction cooperation after the first production line of more than 10 tons, marking that RICHI's influence and market share in the field of feed machinery in the Middle East have reached a new level.

From the first communication to the cooperation, RICHI has won the trust of customers with its strength The customer who signed the contract sent an inquiry email to RICHI for the first time on August 1, 2023, expressing a strong interest in efficient, flexible and automated feed factories. The customer wrote in the email:

"Dears, We are stading to get animal feed factory to export to a customer in KSA. PLS give me your cost price of line from your product Full automatic and half automatic. Also need a line layout to complete our standing. Wait your reply."

Facing the needs of this potential customer, the RICHI team immediately organized senior engineers to conduct project demand analysis. Aiming at the customer's plan to produce cattle and sheep feed, broiler feed and laying hen feed at the same time, they developed multiple sets of process solutions and plant layout designs, and provided full-automatic and semi-automatic configuration quotations according to the customer's different needs for automation.

After nearly two years of multiple rounds of technical discussions, solution optimization and field research, the customer highly recognized the maturity, intelligence level, cost-effectiveness and after-sales service system of RICHI equipment, and finally signed a formal contract on June 27, 2025.

Flexible switching of various feed forms to meet the feeding needs of cattle, sheep, chickens and other breeds The animal feed production line signed this time not only has a production capacity of more than 10 tons/hour, but also has the ability to process multiple feed forms at the same time, which can produce:

• Pellet Feed: Pellet feed for cattle, sheep and chickens
• Mash Feed: Powder feed specially provided for laying hens
• Crumble Feed: Crumbled pellets provided for chicks

This diversified product form can maximize feed utilization, meet the nutritional needs of livestock and poultry at different stages and breeds, and greatly improve the adaptability and profitability of customer factories to the market.

Adapting to local conditions, the raw material plan takes into account both cost and nutrition

Saudi Arabia is rich in forage resources. The customer makes full use of local advantages and formulates a raw material ratio: 50% forage + 50% grain (such as corn, wheat, barley, etc.). Forage is an important source of crude fiber for ruminants (cattle and sheep). With high-energy grain raw materials, animal nutrition can be balanced and cost-controlled.

In order to retain the nutritional value of forage grass and reduce production energy consumption to the greatest extent, the process design of the production line fully considers the characteristics of the raw materials - the moisture content of forage grass is low, no drying is required, only crushing and stacking are required; the grain part adopts a double feeding port design, which can be flexibly fed according to the formula.

Advanced process flow, intelligent production is more efficient

The process flow of the entire animal feed factory project is as follows:

1. Grass crushing
   First, the collected dry forage grass is crushed to ensure the uniformity and granulation efficiency of the later mixing with grain. The moisture content of forage grass is low, and no additional drying equipment is required, saving energy and investment costs.
2. Stacking and temporary storage
   The crushed grass powder will be uniformly stacked in a designated area to ensure subsequent addition according to the required ratio.
3. Grain feeding
   Grain raw materials enter the batching link in turn through two feeding ports, and different formulas can be flexibly switched.
4. Batching storage
   The batching system is equipped with 8 10 cubic meter raw material warehouses, which can store different types of forage powder and grain powder at the same time, and support flexible switching of multiple formulas.
5. Secondary crushing
   After the initial crushing, the grain raw materials are crushed for the second time to ensure uniform particle size and facilitate animal digestion and absorption.
6. Liquid addition + mixing
   The crushed grains are mixed with the stacked grass powder in the mixer according to a precise formula ratio. At the same time, liquid additives such as oil, nutrient solution, trace elements, etc. can be added to achieve uniform distribution.
7. Pelletizing
   The mixed materials are sent to the ring die animal feed pellet machine for pelleting. The appropriate mold and pelletizing parameters are selected for different animals and growth stages.
8. Cooling
   The temperature of the fresh feed pellets is high and needs to be cooled to room temperature by a cooler to prevent the pellets from deteriorating and mildewing.
9. Crumbling
   Some large-particle feed (such as for small chickens) needs to be properly crumbled by the crumbler to ensure palatability.
10. Sieving
    The crushed feed will be separated from the unqualified pellets by the sieving machine to ensure uniform particle size of the finished product.
11. Packaging and sewing
    Qualified feed pellets will be automatically measured, bagged and sewn to ensure tight and neat packaging for convenient transportation and sales.

The production line signed this time has reached the international advanced level in equipment configuration and automation. The entire line is equipped with a PLC intelligent control system, and the key links realize fully automated monitoring and data collection.
