Installation Underway for RICHI 10 T/H Turnkey Feed Mill Project in Uzbekistan

Installation is currently underway on a 10 T/H turnkey animal feed factory project supplied by RICHI Machinery in Uzbekistan. With the main feed processing equipment arriving at the project site, work has moved into equipment positioning, process-section connection and preparation of the complete production system for subsequent testing and commissioning.

At 10 tons per hour, this is not simply a feed pellet mill installation. The project requires multiple processing sections to operate as one coordinated feed production system, from raw material preparation and grinding through batching, mixing, pelletizing and finished-feed handling. The installation stage is where the process design and equipment layout are translated into the physical plant that the customer will operate.

A 10 T/H Feed Mill Requires System-Level Installation

For a 10 T/H project, installation quality depends on much more than placing each machine in its designated position. Grinding capacity must support the required material preparation rate, batching and mixing need to supply the downstream process consistently, and the pelletizing section needs to remain coordinated with cooling, screening and finished-feed transfer.

Material handling connects all of these operations. Elevators, conveyors, chutes and related components need to follow the designed material route while maintaining practical access for inspection and maintenance. Electrical and control systems must then coordinate equipment operation so that upstream and downstream sections start, stop and respond correctly as a complete line.

Installation Is Progressing by Process Section

The current work focuses on turning individual machines and structures into a connected production line. Rather than treating every piece of equipment as an independent installation task, the site team follows the relationships between adjacent processing stages.

1. Position and secure the main processing equipment according to the confirmed layout.
2. Install conveying equipment and connect the material routes between processing sections.
3. Complete chutes, ducts and other process connections required for continuous material flow.
4. Coordinate electrical equipment, motors and control-related connections.
5. Check maintenance access, operating space and interfaces between machines.
6. Prepare individual equipment and connected sections for the testing stage.

This sequence reduces the risk of reaching commissioning only to discover that a connection, access point or material-transfer route needs to be modified.

Turnkey Delivery Extends Beyond the Main Feed Machines

The turnkey character of the project is important at this stage. A complete animal feed pellet production line depends on the engineering relationship between the core machines, auxiliary systems and site conditions. The objective is not to install as much equipment as possible, but to ensure that each supplied section contributes to the required production route.

Depending on the customer's formulas and finished-feed program, a feed mill of this scale can incorporate raw material receiving and cleaning, grinding, ingredient storage, batching, mixing, conditioning and pelletizing, cooling, screening, conveying, finished-feed storage or packing, dust collection and automatic control. The final configuration needs to reflect the actual feed products rather than a standardized equipment list.

What 10 T/H Means for Daily Plant Operation

The nominal 10 T/H capacity also changes the way the customer needs to plan raw materials and production. An eight-hour shift corresponds to approximately 80 tons of theoretical output, while two eight-hour shifts correspond to approximately 160 tons. Actual production will vary with formulation, pellet specifications, changeovers, equipment utilization and maintenance.

At this scale, raw material receiving and storage cannot be treated as secondary considerations. The plant needs enough ingredient inventory and handling capacity to prevent the processing line from waiting for material. Finished-feed handling also needs to keep pace with production so that packing, storage or dispatch does not become a downstream bottleneck.

Uzbekistan Feed Production Requires Raw-Material Flexibility

The production system can be configured around grains and feed ingredients available to the customer, including combinations of maize, wheat, barley, bran, protein meals, minerals and premixes where appropriate to the intended formulations. Different materials do not behave identically during processing, which makes raw-material preparation an important part of commissioning.

Whole grains require suitable grinding, while meals and low-inclusion ingredients follow different handling routes. Formula changes can also affect grinding demand, mixing, conditioning and pelletizing performance. Once installation is complete, production parameters therefore need to be adjusted using the customer's actual formulations rather than relying only on mechanical test conditions.

The Next Stage Is Testing the Plant as One System

Mechanical completion will not mark the end of project implementation. Before production begins, individual equipment needs to be checked, followed by linked testing of the main processing sections. Rotation direction, conveying routes, gates, feeders, electrical controls and equipment interlocks all need to operate according to the designed process.

Material testing then provides a more meaningful assessment of the plant. The site team can observe whether grinding output matches downstream demand, whether batching and mixing maintain the required production rhythm, whether pelletizing remains stable with the intended formulas, and whether cooling and finished-feed handling can accept the output without restricting the line.

From Installed Equipment to a Working 10 T/H Feed Mill

The Uzbekistan project is now at the stage where installation quality will directly influence subsequent commissioning and long-term operation. Correct equipment positioning, reliable process connections, maintenance access and coordinated control all need to be resolved before the plant moves into routine production.
