This 15-20t/h feed processing plant in Argentina project is the first phase of a feed factory project with an annual output of 120,000 tons. It is also a medium-sized compound feed factory that integrates livestock poultry feed and aquatic feed processing.

The project is located in Argentina, covering an area of 40,000m2 and a total construction area of 2,630m2.

The main construction content of the project is the complete animal feed pellet production line. The main buildings include a raw material warehouse, a finished product warehouse, a main workshop, a bulk raw material receiving room, an office building, a maintenance workshop and there is a parts warehouse, a boiler room and an air compressor room, a fire water storage room, a vegetable oil tank, a fish oil tank, and a transformer room.

Supporting environmental protection facilities such as dust removal facilities, oil fume treatment facilities, sound insulation and noise reduction facilities, etc. have been completed and put into use, and passed the project acceptance in January 2019. The construction contents of the second phase (mainly raw material warehouse and finished product warehouse) have not been put into production yet.

In 2022, in order to solve the problem of insufficient gas supply in the existing boiler and meet the gas supply demand of the 120,000-ton feed production line, the client company purchased another gas boiler from us. After the expansion, the production capacity will remain unchanged, with an annual output of 120,000 tons of feed.

Note: In the original environmental impact assessment, the main workshop was 10m underground and 42m above ground, which was changed to 12m underground and 29m above ground.

Raw materials consumption

Raw material reception (unloading, feeding):

Soybean meal is conveyed from the silo and lifted to the production workshop by an elevator. Fish meal, wheat, bran, rapeseed meal and other auxiliary materials are fed independently (flip-type closed air feeding port) .

The receiving system receives the materials and then transports them to the screening process through pipelines. Due to the nature of the work, personnel ratio and equipment settings, raw and auxiliary materials are not received at the same time.

Impurity removal and crushing (sieving, magnetic separation, crushing):

During production, soybean meal is transported by a closed conveyor system to the cylindrical primary cleaning screen and permanent magnetic screen in the production workshop, and bagged fish meal, wheat, bran, rapeseed meal and other auxiliary materials are transported to the cylindrical primary cleaning screen and permanent magnetic screen through scraper conveyors and elevators. After impurities are removed by the cylindrical primary cleaning screen and permanent magnetic screen, they enter the crusher. Screening is mainly to remove sand, gravel, plastic and other impurities in the raw materials. Magnetic separation is mainly to remove some magnetic impurities in the raw materials and protect the safety of equipment and feed. After sieving and magnetic separation, the raw materials enter the crusher and are crushed and then lifted separately. The machine is lifted to the batching bin to wait for batching.

Batching:

Use multi-silo digital weighing for batching, and set up 2 closed batching warehouses with a total capacity of about 300 cubic meters. The measured materials are grouped according to their physical characteristics or weighing range, and each group is equipped with a corresponding Metering device.

Mixing:

The continuous mixing process is adopted. The continuous mixing process is to continuously measure various feed components at the same time, and mix them into a material flow containing various components in a certain proportion according to customer and product requirements. When the material flow enters the mixing After the machine, it is continuously mixed to form a uniform material flow.

Ultra-fine crushing:

The uniformly mixed materials enter the double-shaft crusher through the elevator for ultra-fine crushing. Due to the high-speed rotation of the crushing disc, under the action of centrifugal force, the materials are crushed by the impact of the hammer knife installed on the crushing disc, and then flew to the surrounding ring gear at a very high speed.

Because the gap between the hammer cutter and the ring gear is very small, the airflow between the hammer cutter and the ring gear changes instantaneously due to the change of the tooth shape. The material is subjected to alternating stress in this gap and is further crushed under this repeated action.

The crushed material is carried by the airflow from under the crushing plate between the inner wall and the diverter cover, and then enters the classification chamber. It is graded by the rotating classification wheel and the action of wind and centrifugal force. The separated coarse material is separated from the diverter. The inner cavity of the hood returns to the crushing chamber for re-crushing.

The fine materials (finished products) are sucked into the grading impeller, enter the discharge chamber, and enter the collection system from the discharge port. The crushing process is carried out inside closed equipment.

Screening:

The finely crushed materials enter the screening machine through the air conveying system. Qualified materials enter the secondary mixing process through gravity, and unqualified materials re-enter the crushing process through the elevator.

Secondary mixing:

The screened materials enter the mixer for mixing under the action of gravity. The mixing process is carried out inside the closed equipment. Through the mechanical action of the rotating blades inside the mixer, each material is gradually well mixed.

Granulation and extrusion:

The materials mixed by the mixer pass through the feeder and enter the animal feed pelletizer and floating fish feed machine respectively to extrude granular feed and extruded feed.

Cooling:

After pelleting, the pellets have a large water content and a high temperature. Under these conditions, the pellet feed is prone to deformation, breakage, mildew and adhesion. Use a cooler (air cooling) to cool down and air-dry the materials. The puffed feed needs to be sprayed with a sprayer after puffing.

Crumbling:

After the granular feed is cooled, part of the feed will send the over-long pellets to the crusher according to the customer's pellet size requirements to break the long pellets into product specifications.

Screening, inspection, and packaging:

The cooled pellet feed and extruded feed are sorted through a grading screen, and the finished products are inspected. Those that pass the inspection are automatically packaged by the packaging machine, and are packaged and sent to the finished product warehouse for storage.

Those that are unqualified are sent to the finished product warehouse for storage. The material is re-granulated.

Inspection:

For products, the use of inspection equipment such as near-infrared spectroscopy analyzers can measure conventional indicators such as protein, fat, moisture, ash, and cellulose in the feed.

It can also measure amino acids, fatty acids, peroxide values, Indicators such as acid value, biogenic amines, malondialdehyde and protein solubility.
