After the project is completed, it will have an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of cat litter.

• Corn starch: white slightly yellowish powder. After soaking the corn, it is made through processes such as crushing, sieving, settling, drying and grinding.
• Food grade guar gum: It is a natural galactomannan, one of the quality improvers, and a natural thickener. It is a free-flowing powder from white to slightly yellow in appearance. It can be dissolved in cold or hot water and forms a colloidal substance when exposed to water, achieving rapid thickening effect.
• Preservatives: A type of food additive that can inhibit microbial activity and prevent food from spoiling.
• Essence: It is an artificially prepared mixture containing two or more or even dozens of fragrances (sometimes also containing suitable solvents or carriers) with a certain fragrance.

The main production processes are as follows:

1. Feeding: Manually mix raw and auxiliary materials such as corn starch, bean dregs, calcium carbonate, food-grade guar gum, and flavors into the feeder in a certain proportion, and add an appropriate amount of water-wetting materials at the same time.
2. Stirring: The feeder sends the mixed and moistened raw materials into the mixer, and stirs in the mixer for 15 minutes until the raw materials are evenly mixed.
3. Granulation: The secondary feeder transports the evenly mixed raw materials to the storage bin above the granulator, and the storage bin evenly discharges the materials into the granulator for granulation to make long granular tofu cat litter.
4. Screening: The conveyor transports the tofu cat litter made by the cat litter granulator to the vibrating screen. The vibrating screen screens out the unqualified products that do not meet the product specifications. The unqualified products are collected and added to the mixer for reuse in production.
5. Drying and cooling: The conveyor belt will send the qualified products into the drying and cooling all-in-one machine for drying. It only needs to be dried at 45 degrees Celsius for about 3 minutes. After cooling for about 5 minutes, the finished cat litter will be sent to the packaging machine by the conveyor belt.
6. Packaging: Pack the dried and cooled finished cat litter.

The roads in the factory area have convenient external transportation and the main roads are reasonably set up to meet normal transportation requirements and emergency evacuation in accidents.

The northwest side of the workshop is the bathroom, and the northern side of the workshop is the cat litter production line, from west to east. The feeder, mixer, cat litter pellet making machine, conveyor, vibrating screen, drying and cooling machine and packaging machine are arranged in sequence.

Generally, the solid waste temporary storage room is located on the southwest side of the workshop, the finished product area is located on the southeast side of the workshop, and the raw material area is located on In the central and western part of the workshop, the entire production process of the project, from raw materials, processing to product inventory, is smooth and the workshop layout is relatively reasonable.

Based on the current conditions of the site, buildings and structures should be reasonably arranged to ensure reasonable process flow, short pipelines, and smooth flow of people and goods; comply with the requirements of fire prevention, safety, sanitation and other relevant regulations to create favorable conditions for safe production in the cat litter factory.

• Atmospheric environment prevention and control measures: Set up air collection hoods at each dust generation point. After loading and drying exhaust gases are collected by the air collection hood, they are processed by a set of bag dust collectors and then discharged through a 15m high exhaust pipe. Regularly inspect and maintain production equipment to avoid unorganized exhaust gas emissions caused by machine failures; strengthen ventilation in the workshop.
• Acoustic environment prevention and control measures: select low-noise equipment, rational layout, install vibration-absorbing foundations for high-noise equipment, regularly inspect and repair equipment to keep equipment in good operating condition, install soundproof doors and windows in production workshops, and use buildings and structures to generate noise barrier to prevent the spread of noise.
• Solid waste prevention and control measures: Domestic waste and dust removal ash are collected and handed over to the environmental sanitation department for disposal; unqualified products are collected and reused in production; waste packaging materials are collected and sold outside; waste lubricating oil is taken away by maintenance personnel on the spot .
• Soil and groundwater pollution prevention and control measures: General anti-seepage area: general solid waste temporary storage room, production area, raw material area, finished product area.
• Ecological protection measures: Greening measures such as planting flowers and lawns are adopted at the workshop entrance and surrounding unhardened areas.
• Environmental risk prevention measures: Reasonable layout of the general plan; layout of process equipment to facilitate process operations, installation and maintenance, and safe evacuation passages; strengthen factory safety management; set up dedicated personnel to be responsible for quality management; production workshops are equipped with corresponding fire protection facilities , to respond to sudden environmental accidents.
