Cooling Machine for Pellets in Myanmar: SKLY17×17 for 5–6 T/H fertilizer pellets, with humid-air trials, moisture checks and bagging integration.

During humid weather, fertilizer pellets can approach room temperature while still carrying more moisture than the packing specification allows. That distinction shapes this illustrative application of a cooling machine for pellets in Myanmar, designed for an organic fertilizer producer in the Yangon region.
The producer blends mature chicken-manure compost with specified rice husk biochar and presses the mixture into pellets for domestic farm customers and fertilizer dealers. The proposed purchase replaces floor-spreading with one SKLY17×17 counterflow cooler and its matched air-handling equipment. Existing material preparation, pelletizing and bagging remain in service.
Name:
fertilizer pellets cooler
Country:
Myanmar
Date:
2026
Capacity:
5–6 T/H
Model:
SKLY17×17
Main Motor Power:
1.5 kW
cooling-time:
6–15 minutes
Incoming pellet diameter:
6 mm
The product enters as 6 mm diameter fertilizer pellets, with a target length of 10–20 mm established at the pellet mill. Incoming temperatures of 75–85°C define the proposed duty. The cooler preserves those dimensions while removing process heat; it does not cut or reform the pellets.
The discharge benchmark is 3–5°C above the measured cooling-air inlet temperature under agreed test conditions. With intake air at 30°C, that means approximately 33–35°C at discharge. The actual intake condition is measured beside the machine.
A separate packing-moisture target of no more than 14% on a wet basis is used for trials. The preliminary inlet window is 14–16%, also subject to verification. Temperature and moisture results are both required before a batch is released for packing.
Compost maturity is established upstream. Cooling removes heat but does not complete composting or establish the fertilizer’s nutrient declaration. Storage monitoring and appropriate dust and fire controls remain part of plant operation.
The published reference capacity is 6–8 T/H. This application uses a 5–6 T/H hot-pellet inlet target, pending material and humid-air trials. Selection considers measured bulk density and fines as well as tonnes per hour.

| Air-handling scope | Matched fan, separation, dust collection and ducting |
The quotation must identify the inlet airlock, discharge drive, fan and dust-handling auxiliaries individually. The listed 1.5 kW is not the total installed power of the cooling station. Fan duty follows the pellet bed, duct route and collection-system resistance.
The lower impeller discharge is evaluated for steady delivery and pellet damage. Its suitability is established with this fertilizer blend, rather than assumed from the mechanism’s name. Air leakage at the inlet is assessed separately.
Rice husk biochar affects the blend’s density, fines content and moisture behaviour. Its proportion is controlled through the approved formulation. The trial material must represent the pellets that will actually be produced, including normal variation between compost batches.
An even pellet bed helps distribute cooling air. A tilted pile, uneven feeding or accumulated fines can create easier airflow paths through some areas while leaving others warmer. Distributor adjustment and bed condition are therefore checked during operation.
Light particles carried into the exhaust also need attention. Sampling before and after cooling distinguishes incoming fines from breakage generated by handling. Collected material returns only through the approved blending or reprocessing route.
The cyclone and final dust collector are selected for the actual dust. Wear inspection points include discharge edges, transfer chutes and separation equipment. Contact materials, coatings and access arrangements are specified for moist fertilizer dust; stainless construction is not assumed throughout the package.
Humid intake air reduces the driving force for evaporation at a given temperature, although it can still remove heat from hotter pellets. Adding fan capacity alone does not establish that the 14% moisture target will be achieved.
Trials record air temperature and relative humidity alongside pellet temperature, moisture, airflow and output. Checks cover normal running, the proposed peak rate and wetter operating conditions. Samples are taken across the discharged material to identify warm or damp pockets.
If cooling meets the temperature target while moisture remains too high, upstream moisture preparation must be reviewed. Any additional drying or intake-air treatment is evaluated as a separate requirement before the supply scope is finalized.
For planning, 6 T/H over five productive hours on 220 operating days gives 6,600 tonnes entering the cooler annually. That quantity is not packed fertilizer output: moisture removal, screenings and handling losses change the final saleable mass.
The controls coordinate the fan, level sensing, discharge mechanism and downstream conveyor. A fan or discharge fault initiates the agreed upstream response, preventing continued feeding into an unavailable cooling stage.
Restart instructions cover material remaining in the chamber and the conditions required before discharge resumes. Where a standby generator is used, its capacity assessment includes the air system and conveyors needed to clear product, alongside other essential plant loads.
Cooler supervision can remain with the existing pellet-line operator. Routine duties include sampling, checking the discharge pattern and inspecting dust collection. Packing and warehouse personnel continue to manage bags, pallets and stock rotation.
The electrical design uses a 400 V, 50 Hz, three-phase basis, verified against the actual site supply. Support drawings account for the empty machine, working pellet inventory and maintenance loads. Feeding height, discharge clearance and access to the impeller mechanism are checked against the building.
Freight enquiries can use Qingdao departure and a carrier-confirmed Yangon terminal. Thilawa is a container-terminal option for assessment with the forwarding agent. Packing dimensions, lifting arrangements and the truck route to the plant are agreed before booking.
When specifying a cooling machine for pellets in Myanmar, provide wet-season air readings, inlet pellet temperature and moisture, bulk density and the required hourly output. Add the biochar specification, available headroom and bagging arrangement. RICHI Machinery can then assess the cooler and air system against a clearly defined packing duty.
