We spoke with the plant manager about 16 months after delivery:

"This chicken pellet mill with uniform pellet quality has eliminated our customer complaints. The pellet durability index varies by less than 1% from batch to batch. The automatic roll gap adjustment ensures consistent compression as the die wears.

The mill runs about 10 hours per day, 5 days per week. We have put about 3,000 hours on it. Pellet quality has been consistent throughout.

The only issue was calibrating the die temperature sensors. The RICHI engineer spent two days on calibration, and now the system works perfectly.
