Before the upgrade, the mill operated with one small feed pellet mill that struggled to keep up with seasonal demand. Due to frequent repairs and the rising cost of downtime, the owner decided to retire the aging machine and invest in a new chicken feed pelletizer as a stand-alone upgrade, fitting neatly into the existing mixing and grinding system.
This purchase was not about building a whole new feed plant — it was a strategic decision to add reliable capacity where it was needed most: the pelletizing step.
