The customer in this project is a privately owned feed processing plant located in Bac Giang Province, Northern Vietnam. The mill mainly produces broiler feed for local contract growers who raise white-feathered meat chickens for supermarkets in Hanoi and surrounding provinces.
Over the last five years, this mill’s production grew rapidly because they signed supply deals with more small contract farms. However, their existing pellet mill, bought ten years ago from another supplier, was outdated and showed frequent faults when processing tougher formulas with rice bran and broken rice.
Instead of investing in a full new chicken feed production line — which would have required a huge budget — the owner decided to modernize the most crucial part: the pelletizing section.
