For years, their feed was a mix of home-milled rice bran, broken rice, and a bit of green forage. But feed quality and storage were always a headache, especially in Cambodia’s humid climate. Mold, spoilage, and inconsistent rations caused slow weight gain in cattle, costing farmers money every fattening cycle.
To solve this, the cooperative chose to buy a cattle pellet machine — not an entire feed line, but a single robust pelletizer to compress their grain-based rations into durable, storable pellets.
