The client had been operating for several years using manually processed feed ingredients sourced from local cooperatives, but with rising feed costs and the need to increase milk production, the farm management decided to begin self-producing their own cattle feed.
Rather than investing in a full-scale animal feed production line, which was not feasible given their budget constraints and current production goals, they chose to upgrade their processing capacity by adding one critical machine: a hammer mill. Given the farm’s daily feed processing requirement and available power infrastructure, RICHI recommended the SFSP66×60 feed grinding machine, specifically the model with a 75 kW motor, 660 mm rotor diameter, and 600 mm crushing chamber width. This model has a grain crushing capacity of 6-7 tons per hour, which is sufficient for the farm’s 150-head dairy herd.
