A medium-sized beef cattle farm located in the Ostrobothnia region of western Finland recently purchased two units of the YPPK-2600 round bale shredder to solve a specific problem that had been costing them significant money over several winters: processing frozen oat straw bales and wrapped grass silage bales that were stored outdoors through Finnish winters.

A feed mixer machine for consistent feed output quality in Poland was the missing piece for a large swine operation in the Wielkopolska region, near the city of Poznań. The farm we worked with operates a farrow-to-finish facility with 2,500 sows and produces approximately 60,000 finisher pigs annually.

A large wood pellet manufacturing plant in the Krasnoyarsk region of Siberia, Russia, was producing 25 tons/hour of premium wood pellets for export to Europe and Asia. The plant had recently expanded their pellet mill capacity from 15 tons/hour to 25 tons/hour. The old cooling system (a small belt cooler) couldn't keep up. Dmitri started looking for a pellet cooling system that could handle 25-30 tons/hour with consistent cooling to room temperature.

This project concerns a micro-mill for fish feed processing in Nigeria. A fish feed mill in Ibadan, Nigeria, was expanding into extruded floating feed for tilapia. Extruded feed requires finer flour than pelleted feed. Coarse particles create weak spots in the dough, leading to poor expansion and low water stability. Their existing hammer mill could only achieve 300-400 microns. For extrusion, they needed 150-200 microns.
