Heavy Installation Work Reshapes 18 T/H Organic Fertilizer Site in Türkiye

Large hoppers, conveying equipment and fertilizer processing machines are now occupying their planned positions at an 18 t/h organic fertilizer production project under installation in Türkiye.

The plant is being developed by an agricultural fertilizer producer with access to substantial volumes of dairy manure. Fermented cattle manure will form the main organic base, while prepared crop-derived materials, humic components and selected mineral ingredients can be incorporated into different commercial formulations.

At 18 t/h, the physical volume of material moving through the factory has become one of the most visible engineering features on site.

Installation Is Following Material Volume, Not Just Machine Size

Organic fertilizer mixtures can have much lower bulk density than dense grain ingredients.

As a result, an 18-tonne hourly flow may occupy a considerable volume before it becomes a finished granule.

The customer needs hoppers and conveyors capable of keeping prepared organic material moving without repeatedly starving the downstream production equipment.

This is why the current installation work is concentrated heavily around feeding, transfer and buffer positions.

Three Material Groups Meet Before Granulation

The future production schedule can bring together materials with very different physical properties.

Fermented dairy manure provides the principal organic component. Processed plant residues can increase the fibrous fraction. Humic or mineral ingredients may enter in much smaller proportions but still require controlled dosing.

These materials need to be distributed adequately before the mixture reaches the forming section.

The organic fertilizer production line is not designed around direct pelletization of fresh manure.

Biological stabilization and corresponding upstream moisture management take place before material enters the downstream RICHI system.

Current Site Work Extends Beyond the Main Pelletizing Equipment

Mechanical crews are positioning and connecting:

• large-volume feeding and transfer equipment;
• prepared-material processing sections;
• dosing and mixing systems;
• fertilizer forming equipment;
• downstream screening;
• structural platforms and conveyors.

The order of installation follows both material flow and the practical space required for lifting and positioning larger machines.

Electrical Installation Will Change the Nature of the Project Again

Once the heavy mechanical work is completed, progress will become less visually dramatic.

Motors, sensors, gates, weighing equipment and interlocks will need to be connected and tested.

Only after no-load checks are completed can prepared organic material enter the system for commissioning.

The customer ultimately plans several fertilizer granule specifications, mainly within an approximate 3–6 mm range.

Actual production settings will be established against those formulations rather than one generic manure mixture.

The Türkiye site is currently at its most construction-intensive stage. As the last major machines move into position, the 18 t/h project is beginning its transition from heavy installation toward complete-system integration.
