Cambodia 5 T/H Rice Husk Soil Amendment Pellet Project Enters Manufacturing

RICHI Machinery has begun manufacturing equipment for a 5 t/h horticultural pellet project in Cambodia designed around processed rice-husk-derived material rather than fuel or animal feed.

The customer is developing a soil amendment product for agricultural and horticultural markets. Its formulations can include processed or carbonized rice husk, composted organic matter, selected mineral carriers and other approved ingredients according to the final product program.

The intended finished granules will mainly fall within the 3–6 mm range.

Product Function Defined the Project Before Machine Selection

The customer is not trying to maximize calorific value or feed conversion.

The project is being designed around physical handling, formulation consistency and the ability to manufacture a granulated soil-input product.

That difference changes the engineering priorities.

Density variation among rice-husk-derived material, compost and mineral carriers affects weighing and mixing before granulation. Finished granule size also needs to remain suitable for the customer's packaging and application method.

Low-Density Organic Material Meets Denser Mineral Ingredients

The formulation brings together components that can behave very differently in storage.

Processed rice husk is relatively light. Some mineral carriers can be much denser.

If those materials are not dosed and mixed correctly, the final product may vary from batch to batch even when the granulation equipment itself is operating normally.

RICHI has therefore placed greater emphasis on formulation handling and controlled batching in this project.

The Line Is Being Built for More Than One Commercial Formula

The Cambodian customer expects to adjust products for different market segments.

The factory needs enough flexibility to alter the proportion of organic and mineral ingredients without rebuilding the production route.

Equipment manufacturing has begun around that wider formulation range.

The project does not rely on one exact percentage being permanently maintained.

Agronomic Claims Remain with the Customer's Product Development

RICHI's scope is the mechanical preparation, dosing, mixing, granulation and corresponding downstream handling required to manufacture the physical product.

The fertilizer or soil-improvement effect of a final commercial formulation depends on its actual composition and the customer's agronomic validation.

Keeping that boundary clear prevents mechanical equipment claims from being confused with product-performance claims.

Manufacturing Will Continue Toward Factory Assembly

The principal processing sections are now entering production at RICHI Machinery.

After fabrication and assembly, the system will move through inspection before delivery to Cambodia.

The project is notable not because rice husk is unusual in Southeast Asia, but because the customer is taking that agricultural residue into a horticultural product route rather than another conventional fuel-pellet application.
