Azerbaijan 5 T/H Cotton Stalk Pellet Project Enters Complete Line Manufacturing

RICHI has begun manufacturing equipment for a 5 t/h agricultural biomass project designed around cotton stalks collected from an Azerbaijani cotton-growing region.

Cotton stalks are generated after harvest and have a woody/fibrous structure that makes them suitable for consideration as an agricultural biomass resource after proper preparation.

They do not enter a ring-die straw pellet machine directly from the field.

Four Preparation Steps Come Before Pelletizing

First, collected stalks must be protected from excessive soil and stone contamination.

Second, long stalks require coarse size reduction.

Third, moisture is checked and adjusted. Drying is required when stored material remains above the suitable operating condition.

Fourth, hammer milling reduces the prepared stalk material before controlled pellet-mill feeding.

Only then does the MZLH pelletizing section become relevant.

The planned line therefore connects:

cotton stalk receiving → coarse shredding/crushing → drying as required → fine grinding → storage → pelletizing → cooling → screening → bulk/bagged product handling.

8mm Industrial Fuel Is the First Product

The customer is targeting approximately 8 mm pellets for industrial thermal-energy applications.

Cotton stalk pellets are not being promoted as premium residential wood fuel.

Agricultural feedstocks can have different ash and mineral characteristics, and the customer's downstream buyers need combustion systems suitable for the product.

The 5 t/h plant is designed around prepared dry-material throughput.

Seasonal bale/loose-residue storage is receiving particular attention because cotton stalk supply follows the crop calendar rather than continuous sawmill production.

Finished pellets will primarily be dispatched in FIBC or other commercial-volume formats, with bulk handling possible for larger contracts.

The biomass pellet project builds new long-tail coverage around cotton stalk pellet production line, cotton waste biomass pellet machine, 5 t/h agricultural residue pellet plant, cotton farm waste fuel pellet equipment, and Azerbaijan biomass pellet factory.

Manufacturing is currently progressing through the coarse-preparation, grinding and main pelletizing sections.
