RICHI Ships 5 T/H Animal Feed Production Line Equipment to Peru

RICHI Machinery has completed shipment preparation for a 5 T/H animal feed production line supplied to a customer in Peru. The project equipment has moved from manufacturing and pre-dispatch preparation into overseas delivery, marking the transition from factory-side execution to the customer's upcoming site installation stage.

Unlike the shipment of a single feed machine, a complete 5 T/H line involves multiple processing sections that must arrive as parts of one engineered system. Main machines, conveying equipment, supporting components and the interfaces between different process stages therefore need to be considered together before dispatch.

A Complete 5 T/H Feed Line Is Shipped as Connected Process Sections

The equipment supplied for a commercial feed mill does not operate independently after reaching the site. Raw material preparation needs to supply the required throughput to batching and mixing, prepared mash needs to enter the pelletizing section consistently, and downstream equipment must receive the finished pellets without creating a bottleneck.

For this reason, preparation for shipment follows the process relationship between the equipment rather than treating every machine as a separate product. This helps the customer move more efficiently from equipment arrival to identification, positioning and subsequent installation.

5 T/H Requires Balanced Equipment Selection

A nominal capacity of 5 tons per hour cannot be determined by the pellet mill alone. Grinding capacity, batch size and mixing cycle, pelletizing performance, cooling and screening capacity, conveying routes and finished-feed handling all influence the practical output of a complete animal feed pellet production line.

The actual production rate will also vary with raw materials, formulation, pellet specifications, product changeovers and operating conditions. This is why complete-line engineering focuses on capacity matching between processing stages instead of simply combining machines with similar catalogue capacity figures.

Shipment Preparation Must Preserve the Installation Logic

Once equipment leaves the manufacturing facility, the next major task takes place at the customer's site. Clear identification of machines and supporting components helps the installation team understand where each part belongs and how adjacent sections connect.

This becomes particularly important for auxiliary items. Conveyors, elevators, chutes, pipes, platforms and electrical components may attract less attention than the hammer mill, mixer or pellet mill, but missing or incorrectly matched connecting components can delay installation of the entire system.

RICHI therefore treats shipment preparation as part of project execution. The objective is to deliver not only the main processing machines, but also the equipment relationships required to reconstruct the designed material flow at the destination.

What the Customer Can Prepare Before the Equipment Arrives

The transportation period gives the Peru customer time to coordinate site work with the incoming equipment. Civil works, equipment foundations, workshop access and electrical infrastructure need to correspond to the confirmed layout and technical requirements rather than being decided after machinery reaches the plant.

From 5 T/H Capacity to Daily Feed Production

At nominal capacity, a 5 T/H plant corresponds to approximately 40 tons of theoretical output during an eight-hour production shift. Actual daily production will depend on the feed formulas, pellet specifications, changeover frequency, operating efficiency and maintenance schedule.

This production scale also means the customer needs to plan beyond the machinery itself. Raw material inventory, ingredient storage, finished-feed handling and packing or dispatch capacity should support the intended production schedule. If any of these areas is undersized, increasing the rated capacity of the main processing equipment alone will not increase practical plant output proportionally.

The Peru Project Now Moves Toward Site Implementation

With the 5 T/H feed production equipment dispatched, the focus of the project shifts from factory preparation to site execution in Peru. Equipment arrival will be followed by unloading, positioning, mechanical connection, electrical work and preparation for testing and commissioning according to the project schedule.
