The feed company of this 10t/h aquatic feed mill in the Philippines project was established in 2013 and has a compound feed factory with an annual output of 100,000 tons of livestock and poultry feed.

In order to adapt to market demand, this customer expanded the existing factory area. After the expansion, an additional 50,000 tons/year of aquatic expanded feed will be added, and the original 100,000 tons/year livestock and poultry feed production line will remain unchanged.

The production workshop, raw material warehouse, finished product warehouse, comprehensive building, etc. of the expansion aquatic feed mill project will all rely on the original project and will not be newly built. The expansion added 3 new employees.

It is not easy to expand the original animal feed mill machine project. Main construction contents

On the basis of maintaining the existing annual output of 100,000 tons/a feed, the project plans to add an annual output of 50,000 tons of 10t/h aqua feed mill.

Project based feasibility analysis:

The existing engineering production workshop currently only has one 100,000 t/a animal feed production line, and half of the space is still free. The new 50,000 t/a aquatic feed production line this time is arranged in the free space of the production workshop, so it is feasible based on practical conditions.

Raw material receiving and cleaning

Since the raw materials purchased by the aqua feed mill plant contain a certain amount of impurities, the feeding port is equipped with a screen that can be used as the first impurity removal equipment to remove impurities such as sack lines.

Each feeding port is equipped with a square pulse dust collector; the powdered meal is manually unpacked in the aquatic feed production workshop and put into the feeding port. After being cleaned and ironed by the scraper and elevator, the meal enters the waiting area. In the crushing bin, powder and auxiliary materials enter the batching bin.


First crushing

Due to the large particle size of raw materials such as golden soybeans and soybean meal, they need to be crushed to meet production requirements so that they can be turned into powdery materials. The crushed raw materials are lifted to the batching bin for temporary storage through an automatic elevator.


Mix ingredients at first time

The batching technology used in this project is a multi-bin batching scale, which is a type of automatic batching. The crushed raw and auxiliary materials are sent to different batching bins by the distributor.


Ultrafine grinding

In order to increase the taste of the feed and make the feed more suitable for fish consumption. After the various raw materials are mixed, they will enter the sealed ultra-fine grinder for secondary crushing.


Secondary mixing

According to the formula requirements, various raw materials participating in the ingredients are measured and entered into the mixer in sequence, and various core materials are added during the mixing process. The mixing cycle is 6 minutes.


Granulation——for poultry and livestock feed

During the granulation process, steam needs to be used to heat and sterilize the material, which can adjust the moisture content of the material, improve the maturation and gelatinization of the material, and control pressure and other related parameters through a pressure reducing valve.

During the granulation process, the temperature of the granules leaving the poultry feed pellet machine is as high as about 85°C, and the moisture content is about 17%.


Extruded——for extruded fish feed

After the mixed material enters the expansion chamber of floating fish feed extruder machine, the material is squeezed, rubbed, sheared, etc. between the screw sleeves, and its internal pressure continues to increase, up to 4Mpa. In addition, the steam heating temperature continues to rise, up to 140 ℃.

Within 3-7 seconds, the temperature and pressure increase sharply, and the organizational structure of the material changes, further gelatinizing the starch, denaturing the protein, destroying the crude fiber, and killing harmful bacteria.

When high-temperature and high-pressure materials come out of the discharge port, their pressure is suddenly released in an instant, and the moisture partially flashes.



Because during the puffing and tempering process, high-temperature and high-humidity steam is introduced, and a large amount of heat is generated by extrusion of the material, the moisture content of the puffed aquatic feed is high.

If it is directly stored, it will also cause sticking and mildew. Therefore, Materials are dried through steam heat exchange.



The temperature of the material coming out of the drying equipment is as high as 70°C-85°C. Under such conditions, the pellet feed is easy to deform and break.

This process uses counter-current ventilation and cooling to reduce the feed temperature to less than 8°C higher than room temperature.


Packaging and storage

The cooled aqua feed passes through a quantitative packaging scale and is packed into storage.

Material balance

This 10t/h aqua feed mill in the Philippines project uses corn, wheat bran, wheat, rapeseed meal, cotton meal, soybean meal, rice bran meal and fish meal as raw materials. At the same time, the dust collected by each dust collector (excluding smoke collected by the boiler) is reused in production.

Water supply

The water used in this 10t/h aquatic feed mill in the Philippines project is mainly water for cleaning the expansion chamber and domestic water for employees. The water source is water from a self-prepared well.

Among them, the cleaning water of the expansion chamber is 30t/a, and the new increase of domestic water is 22.5t/a.


High Output And Low Energ Consumption

The drainage of this 10t/h aquatic floating fish feed production line in the Philippines project adopts the rainwater and sewage diversion system.

Rainwater enters the village road rainwater drainage channel adjacent to the southeast side of the 10t/h aquatic fish feed processing line in the Philippines project through the rainwater inlet on the south side of the project for discharge.

After the expansion chamber cleaning wastewater enters the integrated biochemical treatment facility for treatment, it is used to fertilize surrounding forest land and is not discharged. Domestic sewage is treated by septic tanks + integrated biochemical treatment facilities and used to fertilize surrounding forest land without being discharged.


Power supply

The power supply of this 10t/h aquatic floating fish feed mill in the Philippines project is connected to the municipal power grid.

The factory area is arranged from south to north with boiler room, finished product warehouse, production workshop, raw material warehouse/complex building/janitor, and canteen.

The 10t/h aquatic feed mill in the Philippines project's production materials flow from the raw material warehouse to the production workshop from north to south. After production is completed, they enter the product warehouse for storage.

The raw material warehouse, production workshop, and finished product warehouse of this project are closely arranged, which is conducive to the flow of materials and meets production requirements.

The solid waste of the 10t/h aquatic fish feed mill plant in the Philippines project is temporarily stored in the west part of the raw material warehouse. There is no separate storage area. The pulse dust collector and exhaust pipe for crushing dust, the water spray facilities and exhaust pipe for granulating and puffing odors are all located in the northwest outside the production workshop.

On the other side, the septic tank and integrated facilities are located on the north side of the complex, and the rainwater drainage outlet is located on the south side of the project.
