A regional fertilizer processor near Kaunas uses one FZLH420 manure fertilizer pellet machine to form 10 mm pellets from stabilized livestock manure and prepared organic materials.

A regional organic fertilizer processor near Kaunas selected one FZLH420 Manure Fertilizer Pellet Machine in Lithuania to strengthen the forming stage for stabilized livestock-manure fertilizers. The plant collects prepared material from nearby dairy and poultry operations, blends it with suitable cereal residues, and supplies pelletized organic fertilizer to crop farms, horticultural users and local distributors.
The customer already had composting areas, crushing, mixing, moisture-control, conveying and finished-product handling, so the purchase remained a standalone pelletizing upgrade rather than a complete fertilizer line. The FZLH420 provides about 6–8 T/H reference capacity on properly prepared material, allowing the processor to run scheduled campaigns without replacing serviceable upstream and downstream equipment.

Central Lithuania gives this organic fertilizer production project a realistic agricultural base because dairy farming, poultry production and cereal cultivation can generate manure and straw within the same regional supply network. A commercial processor can aggregate material from several farms more credibly than a single farm trying to keep a 6–8 T/H pelletizer fully loaded, especially when compost maturation and seasonal residue supply do not occur at the same pace.
The FZLH420 also fits a regional business better than a small farm application. Its hourly capacity can consume mature fertilizer quickly, so the plant accumulates stabilized material in covered storage before each granulation campaign. This operating pattern lets the machine work near an efficient load while annual output remains tied to actual feedstock collection, product demand, storage capacity and the number of scheduled production days.

The 6–8 T/H value applies to the ring-die forming stage and should not be read as fresh-manure intake or guaranteed factory output. Composting, moisture adjustment, mixing, cooling and packaging operate under different time scales, so buffers are used between sections. Actual pelletizer throughput also depends on bulk density, fibre content, moisture, particle distribution, die condition and feeder stability during operation.
The 90 kW main drive, 3 kW anti-bridging feeder and 1.5 kW forced feeder are suited to prepared organic mixtures that can compact above the die chamber. These feeding devices improve material flow, but they do not make long straw, wet manure or large compost lumps acceptable machine feed. Screening, crushing and moisture preparation still have to be completed before fertilizer reaches the FZLH420.
Fresh cattle manure is not sent directly from the farm into the pellet machine. The processor first manages aerobic stabilization or composting so biological activity, odor, structure and moisture become easier to control. Mature material can then be screened and crushed before formulation. A rotary dryer may assist with moisture adjustment later, but thermal drying does not replace the biological treatment required for fresh manure.
Poultry litter and pig manure can also enter the raw-material system when they are collected under controlled conditions and stabilized before use. Their nutrient concentration, bedding content, salts, ash and moisture can differ significantly from dairy manure, so the plant does not rely on one permanent blend ratio. Each batch is built from actual material analysis and the fertilizer specification intended for the market.
Wheat or barley straw can provide carbon and structure during composting, while clean untreated sawdust can be used when the mixture needs additional dry carbon. Neither material is treated as an automatic pellet binder. Excess woody matter can dilute nutrient concentration and increase slowly decomposing carbon, so inclusion depends on compost balance, moisture management and the finished fertilizer analysis rather than one fixed percentage.
The Manure Fertilizer Pellet Machine in Lithuania operates near the end of the process. Stabilized fertilizer is screened, coarse lumps are reduced, components are proportioned and mixed, then moisture and particle condition are checked before the FZLH420. The ring-die organic fertilizer pellet machine forms the prepared blend into 10 mm pellets, after which the product is cooled, screened and transferred to bulk storage or packaging.
Moisture is established from the actual fertilizer mixture rather than one permanent 18–22% rule. Material that is too wet can produce soft pellets and unstable feeding, while an excessively dry blend can create dust and greater compression resistance. Operators watch feeder behavior, motor load, pellet formation and cooling performance together, then use drying only when mature material still carries more water than the forming stage can handle.
Long straw fibres and compacted compost pieces are reduced before the forced feeder because coarse material can bridge or produce uneven loading. For many mature fertilizer blends, a few-millimeter particle range provides a practical basis for ring-die forming, but the exact target depends on fibre type, moisture and pellet diameter. Screen opening is therefore a process setting rather than a universal product specification.
The plant uses 10 mm as its principal commercial pellet size, which remains within the FZLH420 range of 4–12 mm. The diameter is selected for handling, packaging and mechanical spreading rather than for a claimed nutrient advantage. Another compatible die can be installed when a buyer requests a different physical format, but any effect on throughput, compression load and fines level has to be evaluated with the actual formulation.
Pellet diameter does not create a controlled-release fertilizer by itself. Nutrient availability depends on the organic matrix, mineral forms, soil moisture, microbial activity and field conditions, while the FZLH420 only shapes prepared material. The processor therefore keeps agronomic claims separate from machine performance and verifies nutrient analysis, moisture, ash and other commercial parameters through its quality-control program.
Cooling must be sized for the real instantaneous discharge from a 6–8 T/H fertilizer granulator machine. Warm pellets need time to lose process heat before stable storage, but the cooler is not a substitute for upstream moisture management. Screening then removes fines and broken pellets, giving operators useful feedback on preparation, die condition and conveying. Persistent fines are investigated as a process issue rather than hidden through repeated recycle.
The 90 kW main motor is only part of the utility demand. The anti-bridging feeder, forced feeder, conveyors, cooler, screen and upstream crusher add their own loads, so transformer capacity, motor starting, protection and cable sizing are checked for simultaneous operation. The retrofit also needs enough service clearance for ring-die and roller maintenance instead of being placed wherever floor space happens to be available.
Klaipeda provides a practical maritime entry point for machinery moving to central Lithuania, followed by inland truck transport toward the Kaunas area. The project does not depend on a fixed sea-transit or customs period because vessel service and clearance conditions vary by shipment. Installation drawings allow the customer to prepare foundations, electrical service, infeed, discharge and maintenance access before arrival.
Future expansion starts with the amount of mature fertilizer available ahead of the machine. If composting, moisture control, mixing, cooling or packaging already limits output, another pelletizer would add installed power without increasing saleable product. The customer first uses available operating hours on the FZLH420 and tracks where material accumulates before deciding whether a parallel unit or a larger downstream section is justified.
For another buyer evaluating a Manure Fertilizer Pellet Machine in Lithuania, RICHI Machinery would review manure type, collection method, compost maturity, moisture, straw or woody content, particle size, target pellet diameter, hourly demand, mixer and cooler capacity, electrical supply, annual sales plan and available workshop dimensions. Those inputs determine whether the FZLH420 or another model provides the best utilization.
