The client had been operating with older grinding equipment, primarily for processing locally sourced roughages and grains.
However, due to the increased availability and affordability of cottonseed meal in Uzbekistan, they planned to optimize their feed formulations for dairy and beef cattle by incorporating more cottonseed meal — a rich protein source.
This shift in feed strategy required an upgrade: a new hammer mill that could efficiently process cottonseed meal, ensuring uniform particle size for better feed mixing and digestion. The customer was not building a full production line but sought a stand-alone grinder that would complement their existing batching and mixing systems.
