Incoming sludge and rice straw are received in enclosed bays. Rice straw is processed through a RICHI Straw Crusher. Sludge is transferred to a negatively pressured storage pit. A RICHI Plant-Based Deodorant Mist System neutralizes odors at the source.
Pre-weighed sludge, straw, and microbial consortia are blended in a RICHI Heavy-Duty Mixer. The mixture is conveyed into 10x RICHI In-Vessel Fermenters. Forced aeration and temperature control maintain 55–65°C for a minimum of 8 days. Exhaust air is treated in a central RICHI Multi-Stage Biological Odor Scrubber before discharge.
Cured compost is passed through a RICHI Semi-Wet Material Crusher and a RICHI Rotary Drum Screen to create uniform powder. Oversized particles are recycled.
