Indonesia Shrimp feed production technology:

  1. Raw material reception and initial cleaning:
    Soybean meal and other raw materials are sent to the bucket elevator via a scraper conveyor, lifted to a cleaning screen to remove debris, and then passed through a permanent magnet cylinder to remove ferromagnetic debris, and distributed to the corresponding ingredients through a distributor warehouse.
  2. Primary batching, mixing, primary crushing, and secondary crushing:
    Various raw materials are weighed and batched through computer control and then enter the twin-shaft high-efficiency mixer for primary mixing.

    The mixing equipment used in this fish shrimp feed plant in Indonesia project is high-efficiency sealing equipment. The mixed materials are sent to the bucket elevator through the scraper conveyor, and after being lifted to the bin to be crushed, the material is fed into the crusher for two crushings.

    The crushed materials are pneumatically transported to the dust removal device (cyclone), and the powder is further collected by the pulse dust collector and then enters the high-level screen for screening. The leaked materials from the screening are collected and reused until the feeding stage.

    The qualified crushed materials are sent down to the auger and sent to the batching warehouse through the conveyor.
  3. Secondary batching and mixing:
    The qualified materials for secondary crushing are weighed and batched under computer control, and then enter the mixer together with the primary premix for secondary mixing.
  4. Granulation and ripening:
    The mixed materials enter the shrimp feed pellet machine and the products are steamed through high-temperature steam (80~90℃). Depending on the particle size of the product, the required granulation time is different.

    In this prawn feed mill plant project, three shrimp feed pellet mills operate at the same time. The granulation capacity per unit time is 5~6t/h, and the production time is calculated as 3000h, which can meet the production needs.
  5. Drying and cooling:
    The feed passes through the shrimp feed pellet cooler to reduce the moisture content of the shrimp feed.
  6. Screening:
    A part of the cooled shrimp pellets is directly lifted to the grading screen by the elevator, and the qualified ones enter the packaging process; the remaining part enters the crumbling process, and is screened by the grading screen to obtain products of different specifications.
  7. Packaging and warehousing:
    Finished products are automatically stacked by robots and feed mill palletizers and transported to the warehouse for storage.

Extruded floating fish feed production process

The raw material receiving, initial cleaning, primary batching, mixing, primary crushing, secondary crushing, secondary batching, and mixing processes are the same as those of shrimp pellet feed.

They will not be repeated here. The processing technology of extruded fish feed will be described starting from the mixed expansion process.

  1. Extrusion:
    The mixed materials enter the warehouse to be expanded, undergo high-temperature treatment through the fish feed extruder, and use steam conditioning to mature the feed and achieve a certain uniformity.

    Depending on the particle size of the product, the required puffing time is different. The feed particle sizes of this project include 1.0~2.0, 3.0, 4.0~5.0, and the corresponding designed production capacities are 11098t/a, 8623t/a, and 5279t/a respectively. The unit time unit The extrusion production capacity of each equipment is 5t/h, 8t/h, and 10t/h respectively.

    One twin screw extruder is installed. The production time of this project is calculated as 4000h, which can meet the production needs.
  2. Drying:
    After puffing is completed, it is pneumatically transported to the dryer to reduce the moisture content of the etruded pellet fish feed.
  3. Grease spraying:
    The dried puffed pellet feed is screened and mixed evenly with grease through a spraying machine.
  4. Air cooling:
    After spraying, enter the cooler to cool and air-dry.
  5. Screening:
    From the elevator to the grading screen, the qualified products enter the packaging process. This process will produce unqualified products and reuse them for the next batch of feed.
  6. Packaging and warehousing:
    Finished products are automatically stacked by robots and palletizers and transported to the warehouse for storage.

Note: This 6t/h fish feed & 5t/h shrimp feed plant in Indonesia project has a laboratory to test some raw materials and finished products for protein, moisture, calcium, phosphorus and other indices. Reagents such as hydrochloric acid, ethanol, and EDTA will be used during the testing process.

Environmental protection measures

Exhaust gas

The dust generated during the Indonesia fish shrimp feed plant project's feeding, crushing, and packaging processes is processed by "pulse dust collector + water spray" and then discharged through a 40-meter-high exhaust pipe.

According to the forecast analysis, the limits of the "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Air Pollutants" can be reached. The high-temperature and high-humidity exhaust gas generated during the air cooling process is processed by "cyclone dust collector + pulse dust removal + water spray + combined catalytic device" and then discharged through a 40-meter-high exhaust pipe.

According to forecast analysis, organized dust emissions can meet the secondary emission standard limit requirements of the "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Air Pollutants".

The exhaust gas generated during the granulation process of the 6t/h fish feed & 5t/h shrimp feed plant in Indonesia project is treated by "pulse dust removal + water spray + combined catalytic device" and then discharged through a 40-meter-high exhaust pipe.

During the expansion and drying processes, dusty odor will be produced. After treatment by the catalytic device, it is discharged through a 40m high exhaust pipe.

The deodorization efficiency of this combined catalytic device can reach more than 90%. According to prediction analysis, the concentration of organized odor emissions can reach the standard limit in the "Emission Standards for Odor Pollutants".

Wastewater

The spray wastewater and laboratory wastewater of this 6t/h fish feed & 5t/h shrimp feed mill plant in Indonesia project meet the limits of the "Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard" after sedimentation pretreatment, and are sent to the local sewage treatment plant for centralized treatment.

Solid waste

The solid waste in this aqua feed plant in Indonesia project mainly includes raw material primary cleaning waste residue, dust removal ash, sedimentation waste residue, laboratory waste, waste packaging materials, and domestic waste.

Among them, the waste residue from the initial cleaning of raw materials, sedimentation waste residue, and domestic waste are regularly cleared and transported by the environmental sanitation department. The dust removal ash is collected and reused in production.

Waste packaging materials are recycled and transported by the relevant material departments. Laboratory waste and waste resin are entrusted to qualified units for disposal. All types of solid waste are disposed of reasonably and safely without causing any adverse effects on the local environment.
